Hey – I’m Jessie, and thanks for visiting my online portfolio.

I graduated from the Pratt Institute’s Architecture program in 2009, and since then I have been working through IDP and licensing requirements as a draftsman and designer.

I am comfortable drafting and modeling both digitally and manually, and am highly proficient in AutoCAD and Revit. My experience so far has allowed me the chance to learn all aspects of the business and really dig into the nuts and bolts of putting together quality design and construction drawings. I’ve also taken the time to become a LEED Green Associate. I am in the process of taking my Architectural Registration Exams and aim to have my license by the time I’m thirty.

Growing up in a military family, I was lucky to experience living a good deal of travel by the time I was eighteen. That wanderlust is still going strong, and I take every opportunity to venture out and see something new. My design aesthetic has been informed by everything from the various places I have lived, my minor in art history, love of music and even my life-long fascination with Legos. Kids have to start somewhere.

"When I realized that architecture was a real thing – that I could design and build beautiful structures for a living – well, that was a “lightbulb” moment for me. It was a game changer. And from then on I never wanted to do anything else."
